Closed for Good

Closed for Good was a way for our staff to work together in teams on projects nominated by their communities. On 4 November 2009 we closed our stores and offices and worked for you instead.

Simple: we were looking for a way to help our communities to be better off. Closing for one day meant we could concentrate our efforts and work in teams to do just that.

Most of our staff worked on community projects on Wednesday, 4 November. (Some call centre and other staff were still working, but they'll get time off to work on community projects on other dates.)
