Papakura Badminton Hall
Papakura Store on Wednesday went to the local Badminton hall. The mission was to pick up rubbish and paint the outside of the building.
The weather was against us at the beginning of the day so we started on the kitchen as it was a dream of theirs to have a fresh coat of paint on their kitchen cupboards. We ended the day (after the weather improved) with all rubbish collected, a fresh coat of paint on their kitchen cupboards, a fresh coat of paint on the exterior walls (where we could reach) and their badminton courts all mopped ready for a match by those staff game enough to give it a go.
We were presented with a plaque for our wall, showing their appreciation for the work we have done.
