Upper Hutt Animal Rescue Society (UHARS)
UHARS provides temporary homes for unwanted, stray, abused and abandoned animals before they find permanent homes. The work our team completed, were tasks that UHARS simply don’t have manpower or time to do. We weeded, sanded, painted, restrung, water blasted, dug, slashed, carried, smashed, ate and laughed our way through the day.
A 1 ½ year old cat named ‘Angelina’ (named after ‘Angelina Jolie’) took a shining to the boys like her name sake. Watching grown men talk to cats is just as funny as watching them talk to babies.
