014Fun Christmas present wrapping at our Family Place, Auckland for the Child Cancer Foundation
This a great volunteer activity and loads of fun.
Phase1 - we will need approx 200 Kagi wrist bracelets packaged to go in a Direct Mail-out and Update Magazine for Christmas presents.The gift boxes will need to be made, a bracelet & descriptive card inserted into a pouch, then foam and the bracelet goes into the pouch. The bracelets can then be placed into courier bags with an address label.
Phase 2 - wrap presents for children currently recieving treatment in hospital and for our annual childrens' Christmas party.
How this project will benefit the community
The Kagi beaded bracelets are sold to generate income for our child and family support services.
Christmas present wrapping - Christmas is a tough time for children with cancer and their families. Many are far from home and treatment does not stop for the festive season, so we do everything we can to make Christmas special for the whole family.
