What is Closed for Good?

Closed for Good is BNZ’s annual day of volunteering. We close our stores and most of our support offices and get out into New Zealand communities and lend a hand. Submissions for Closed for Good 2016 are now closed.


How we’re helping your community be good with money.

We’ll be supporting a wide range of projects that benefit communities across NZ.

FINANCIAL LITERACY HELP

BNZ is committed to helping New Zealanders be good with money. Trained staff come to your organisation, group or school and deliver workshops on budgeting, being scam savvy or money basics for kids.

SKILLED HELP

We have staff with a broad range of skills they use on a daily basis in our business which help organisations grow, solve a problem or plan – HR, finance, marketing, digital, social media and strategy to name a few.

Helping hands

Sometimes the best thing we can do to help you be good with money is get something done that would otherwise cost a group hard-earned or raised money.

How does Closed for Good work?

1. YOU SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT

Project submissions are now closed.

2. WE CHECK THE DETAILS

If your project ticks all the boxes and has been accepted, we’ll in touch by 18 July.

3. PROJECTS ARE CONFIRMED

Our staff pick the project they want to work on. If your project is going ahead, you’ll hear from us by 15 August.

4. WE HELP YOU OUT!

On 31 August, your team of BNZ volunteers will come and lend you a hand! Just before the big day, your BNZ project leader will be in touch to finalise details.
